INFRASTRUCTURE
College is located in an extensive campus in Tirupati city with lush green & quiet environment which is 5km from bus stand and railway station. The college has multi stored buildings separately for college and hostel. All labs, library, multipurpose hall and class room have adequate space meeting the requirements of the INC. The mess & canteen facility caters to tastes of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh students. Our RO mineral water plant provides safe drinking water.
FACULTY
Swathi Group of Institutions has well qualified & experienced B.Sc & M.Sc. nursing staff in various specialties. Our faculties are hard working, dedicated towards the overall development of students including academic as well as co-curricular activities.
LIBRARY
Our college provides a highly spacious, well lightened and comfortable library which gives a friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge. The College Library presently has about 3000 copies of reference books and text book, representing nursing and allied subjects. We have subscription of national and international journals, news paper periodicals which help to update latest trends. 24 hours library service and free internet facility available for both student and staff.
CLASS ROOMS
Well ventilate, spacious and well furnished class room with various teaching aids like, over head projector, slide projector, LCD, models, charts. Teachers using various teaching methods like lecture, demonstration, seminars, symposium, panel discussion.
CAMPUS LIFE
At SGI study is tough but life is fun., Students enjoy a lot of free life at campus. Faculty and staff are friendly and approachable. Special arrangements will be made to conduct seminars, group discussions cultural activities, celebrations at the campus. Yet discipline preceeds any action as it's the Philosophy of SGI.
MESS, ATTACHED HOSTEL
Hostel accommodation is available in the institution premises for girls supervised 24X7 by wardens and vigilant security personnel. Mess facilities are available with a well maintained dining hall adjacent to the hostel serving sumptuous, hygienic and nutritious food to the hostlers. Telephone Facilities are available Mineral water provided to all the rooms Recreation programs are arranged so as to provide comprehensive welfare of the students.
CLINICAL EXPOSURE
Swathi Group of Institutions has affiliation with SVRR Government General & Medical College Hospital, Tirupati with 750 beds, Government Maternity Hospital with 200 beds, Tirupati and Primary Health Center, Renigunta. The Nursing Students will be rotated in all clinical areas of the Hospitals and are involved in all core areas for direct patient care with Nursing Processes practiced on par with Global Nursing Paradigms. The Hospital is supported by ultra modern laboratories, high end Blood Bank and 24 hours emergency medicine department (Casualty). Well planned and equipped ICU’s are available for different specialties like Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Neonatology, Endocrinology etc., Hospital provides excellent quality health care to various diseased patients with most satisfaction and very good clinical outcomes. Swathi Group of Institutions provides safe transport facility to students going to clinical training. Well experienced clinical instructors and teachers accompany the students in clinical areas. Strict discipline is practiced during clinicals. Absenteeism and misconduct are strictly not allowed.
Pediatrics Lab
We have spacious lab with all equipments according to INC. All procedures are taught first in the lab to the Universal level. CPR Manikins are available to teach basic life support measures.
Nutrition Lab
Students are gaining experience to prepare special diets and sick diets according to disease condition.
